No Moissanite!
WHY I DON’T WORK WITH MOISSANITE
“Because when you create the wave, you don’t ride the ripples.”
By TJ Daniels | Founder of IcedByTJ
The Origin: I Was the Spark
Before moissanite hit pop culture, before clone watches, tennis chains, and “affordable drip” became internet trends — I was one of the first to bring moissanite to YouTube. There were no detailed reviews, no educational content, no transparency. So I built it.
My original channel, tjsworld425, was created as a platform to blend financial literacy with the luxury lifestyle, offering shine that looked like diamonds without the price tag. I pioneered styles that sellers now claim as theirs. I was the first to cover moissanite grillz. I put people on game — and I made it cool.
What followed was viral success, dozens of copycats, and unfortunately, a level of betrayal and harassment I never expected.
The Fallouts: From Partnerships to Attacks
As my influence grew, I collaborated with nearly every trending moissanite brand — IceGiants, Petey the Jeweler, Presto, Harlem Bling — bringing attention and visibility they couldn’t generate on their own. But with that spotlight came resentment.
It started with honest reviews. I don’t sugarcoat. I don’t promote stainless steel chains or low-quality pieces. That honesty clashed with brands who thought they could control my voice. When I refused, they retaliated:
The Ice Giants (IGT) doxxed me live on YouTube — revealing my full name and address, which led to anonymous death threats.
Presto Grillz promised a grill he never delivered, leading to a video takedown and the end of our collaboration.
Petey, a known middleman, collapsed under his own contradictions and paranoia.
Harlem Bling (Eddie) attempted to manipulate my narrative. When I didn’t comply, he led a harassment campaign with LGBTQ figure Brandon Suarez, Geezo Reviews, TRJC, Blu Reviews, and others — launching monstrous group smear campaigns, death threats, and mass algorithm disruption.
They impersonated me. Leaked my eBook. Sent adult toys to my address. Harassed my loved ones. Made threats involving mob ties and $10K bounties. Even my deceased mother became a target of disgusting slander.
They didn’t just attack my business. They attacked my life.
The Reality: Moissanite is Full of Middlemen & Manipulation
I worked with “jewelers” who never touched a tool. Middlemen who pretended to be artisans. Scam artists like Tonnie Dang and Panero, who used my credibility to bait customers and never delivered.
Even content creators I mentored — like Jalen from Mogul — turned their back after going viral, forgetting who helped them build.
Let’s call it what it is:
The moissanite industry is a trap. Not the kind that builds empires. The kind that ruins reputations.
It’s a space full of cheap pieces, entitled customers, and glorified gatekeepers with no loyalty, skill, or integrity.
I built that community. They kicked me out of it.
Now I’m Steve Jobs walking out of Apple — just before I launch something greater.
The Transition: From Iced Out to Leveled Up
After everything — the betrayals, the threats, the loss of my mother, a totaled Benz, a rescinded $100K IT job due to a data breach — I relocated to Jacksonville, FL to start fresh.
I stepped away from moissanite not because I failed — but because I outgrew it.
Now? I work with real materials: CVD diamonds, certified gold, Argentium silver, and platinum.
No more drama. No more gimmicks. Just craftsmanship, authenticity, and elite results.
If you want real value, real artistry, and a piece that tells your story — I’m your jeweler.
If you want TikTok hype and copy-paste jewelry from a reseller in their mom’s basement —
I’m not your guy.
The Conclusion: Why I’ll Never Go Back
I don’t wear moissanite.
I don’t sell moissanite.
I don’t support moissanite culture.
Not because it’s “bad” — but because it became toxic, fake, and oversaturated.
From here on out, it’s diamonds only.
And if that ain’t ice…
You ain’t him.

[The Full Story- Uncut Version]
WHY I DON’T WORK WITH MOISSANITE
I was one of the few original YouTubers who introduced moissanite to the pop culture market. When I began, there were only one or two other channels doing anything similar—no detailed videos, no breakdowns, and no real education. I created the channel tjsworld425 as a platform to advocate for financial literacy while showcasing jewelry that had diamond-like shine without the diamond price tag.
I developed my name in the moissanite space through viral success, and pioneered many of the core styles that are now widespread in the market. From tennis chains to clone watches and even grillz, I was the face and voice of the underground moissanite scene. I prided myself on honest reviews and raw insight, never selling out to the hype. But that same honesty would later cost me everything.
At the height of my success, I was maliciously targeted by competitor companies, all stemming from negative (but honest) reviews I gave of their low-quality products.
The Ice Giants (IGT) publicly reviewed my purchase history on a livestream, which exposed my name, address, and personal information. That breach led to anonymous death threats, simply because I gave an honest review of a stainless steel and moissanite Cuban chain they sent me—a material I don’t even review.
I also worked with Petey the Jeweler, a Canadian middleman with schizophrenic tendencies who turned on me after exposure.
Then came Presto, a moissanite grillz maker on Etsy. I was the first to cover moissanite grillz, and he promised a grill that he never delivered. I took down the video, and our relationship fell apart.
But the biggest, messiest fallout was with Harlem Bling and its owner, Eddie. Our confrontations stemmed from his desire to control and manipulate my narrative. He eventually linked with Brandon Suarez, an LGBTQ rep, and along with:
Drip Gawd Jewelry
TRJC (The Real Jewelry Company)
Gezo Reviews
Blu Reviews
and dozens of ghost channels...
They all terrorized my platforms with:
Spam
Harassment
Group actions (mass disliking my videos to disrupt the algorithm)
Gang stalking
More death threats
And false reports to my leasing office, accusing me of growing/manufacturing illegal substances
Eddie threatened my life, claiming MOB ties and offering $10,000 to get me canceled. They:
Sent dildos to my apartment
Put my phone number on LGBTQ dating sites
Closed my online businesses
Leaked, copied, and stole my eBook
Contacted my vendors and undercut my sales
Eddie himself would harass me through multiple phone numbers and emails
They even went as far as saying disgusting things about my deceased mother, including that she was in hell performing sexual acts.
They stalked, followed, and harassed anyone associated with me—destroying relationships and business partnerships. They held panel discussions on Geezo's YouTube channel where they took donations to talk trash about me.
Geezo, a CZ/brass wearer with a girlfriend who’s a reformed plus-sized OnlyFans model, used his subscribers like SG Baby to fuel hate.
Let’s not forget Urban Gear Man and James Custom Jewelry, Canadian channels who added fuel to the fire—not key players, but catalysts.
Luis (aka Cigar Padrino) falsely claimed ownership of a cigar lounge and claimed to be a millionaire with Lambos—all lies that were eventually disproved.
I briefly worked with known scammer Tonnie Dang (Ton) from the Midwest. He produced unfinished products and ruined the grillz space.
Then there was Terrence (Panero), founder of the “Academy of Jewelry,” who tried to use my brand to scam customers into paying for training he never planned to deliver.
I also helped Jalen, a struggling creator, start her brand "Mogul." She went viral on TikTok multiple times and showed no appreciation or recognition for the time and help I gave her.
Even Freako, a fan-turned-hater, scammed me out of $500 and began acting like an internet gangster when I let it go. He drove by my apartment, took pictures, and bragged about having a "stick and a switch."
This criminal was even dumb enough to text me from his phone, admitting to felony possession of an illegal firearm modification.
And finally, TRJ (The Real Jewelry Company), who once felt like brothers, turned on me. One co-founder, Alfonso, was nothing more than a middleman who dreamed of being a celebrity jeweler with zero skill to back it up.
All of this happened while I was still mourning the loss of my mother, after I had just been laid off from a $80K IT job the same day they were set to promote me to $100K.
To make matters worse, my brand new Mercedes was totaled by a reckless under-21 driver.
So I packed up my life and relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to restart.

Personal Hardships and Disillusionment
